Cousin William Turns 3!
On March 31st, Nicolas' cousin William turned the big THREE! We traveled down to Houston to celebrate with family. I can't believe how quickly these kiddos grow up...William and Nicolas had a great time playing together all weekend long, wish we could get them together more often but travelling with kids is not the easiest task!

A very special occassion
In February we got to celebrate a BIG milestone with Enrique's parents (Mima and Abuelito). This year marked their 45th anniversary! I'm so glad we got to celebrate and have pictures for Nicolas to cherish, what a great accomplishment!

Nicolas had a photo session when he turned 18 months, these are a few of the photographer favorites. Love this little guy so so much and I just can't get enough pictures of him! We had a really good time shooting at Clyde Warren Park and Nicolas was running ALL over the place. He definitely made the photographer work :)
New Year's Eve 2013
This year our close friends Jaime and Rene (who also happen to be related) threw a New Year's Eve bash at their house and included all the kiddos! We are officially outnumbered by kids in our group of friends!!!!
Nicolas had such a good time playing with all of the kiddos and mommy and daddy had a great time watching Nicolas play and catching up with great friends. Nicolas surprised and made it to midnight! I tried and tried to get him to sleep but he wasn't having it, I think he knew something big was about to happen :)
We only took a few pictures...who wants to walk around a party with a camera all night?!

Christmas 2012
Christmas this year was so much fun! Nicolas is such a little character and he is so loved that we got to spend Christmas Eve with my family in Houston, then drive back Christmas morning to spend the day with Enrique's family in Carrollton. Christmas night we had our own little family Christmas at home which was so special and I will cherish those memories forever.
Nicolas was not a fan of Santa this year....we even went TWICE! Both times results in a crying little boy which makes for funny pictures now but I'm sure Nicolas will not appreciate them in the future. As is typical in Texas, the weather was unpredictable and we actually had on shorts the day we saw Santa! CRAZINESS.
Christmas stories are best told via pictures so here are a few out of the 100s of pictures we took this year. I can't express again how much we love Nicolas and how special holidays are now that he is in our lives.
