33 weeks and already stubborn!

We went for our 33 week check up today.  This little baby is still breached and not cooperating with mommy and daddy's birthing plan!  We go back in two weeks and if we are still breached we will schedule a c-section for sometime in between 39-40 weeks.  I really don't want a c-section but of course we are going to do whatever it takes to get this baby out safely.

At 28 weeks we found out that the baby has hydronephrosis.  This sounds much worse (hopefully) than what it is.  The right kidney is dialted which means there is probalby some sort of blockage.  In some babies, this is something that is outgrown, in others it will require surgery.  Today the FMP told us that based on size, our baby has a "moderate" case.  We are grateful that it is not labelled as "severe" but needless to say Enrique and I have both been quite worried ever since finding this out.  The bottom line is we still have a healthy baby and are very blessed and thankful for the gift we have been given.  We are staying positive and know in our hearts that everything will be ok.  From now until delivery, we will be seeing the FMP every other week and our OB every week until Baby Rodriguez makes his or her big debut!

Here is a picture from today's appointment....this baby has some big lips courtesy of daddy's genes.
